Kevin Cauley has worked in the fields of professional licensing and health care law in various capacities for over a decade. He has worked on hundreds of cases involving the defense of health care and other licensed professionals before state licensing boards, state and federal agencies, in state and federal courts, and on appeal.
Kevin Cauley obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Prior to attending law school, Kevin Cauley worked with Frances Cullen, P.C., one of the Southeast's leading law firms specializing in the defense of physicians, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, and other licensed professionals, as a paralegal. Frances Cullen is a former Assistant District Attorney and Assistant Attorney General who previously prosecuted cases on behalf of several professional licensing boards, including the Georgia Medical Board, before starting her own defense practice. She has successfully defended over a thousand licensed professionals in over twenty years of practice. Kevin Cauley gained invaluable experience working alongside Frances Cullen.
Kevin Cauley then relocated to Los Angeles, California to attend the SCALE (two-year honors) Juris Doctor Program at Southwestern Law School. While in law school, Kevin Cauley served as Managing Editor of the Los Angeles Public Interest Law Journal, Student Leader of the Small Claims Court Clinic, Secretary of OUTlaw, and on the Board of the Criminal Law Society. He completed a Public Interest Law Fellowship at the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center and worked as a law clerk at Caesars Entertainment Corporation in Las Vegas, Nevada. During law school, Kevin Cauley received awards and recognition, including the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence and a Public Interest Law Fellowship.
After law school, Kevin Cauley founded Kevin Cauley, P.C. in order to pursue work he is passionate about defending licensed professionals.
